Chris Schultz leads with a strong belief that business should always be rooted in service. As co-founder and owner of CJS Power, Lighting & Design and No Shorts Electrical Services, he and his wife Jennifer, have built their companies around trust, integrity, safety, and giving back to the community that supports them.
A dedicated leader in Rotary for over a decade, Chris is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Indio, has served as an Assistant Governor for Rotary District 5330 and also is a board member for the North America Rotary Action Group for Addiction Prevention. His service with Rotary has created opportunities to mentor others, support local initiatives, and strengthen community partnerships throughout the Coachella Valley. His passion for service extends into many organizations like his ongoing service at Wellspring Church in Indian Wells and his longtime involvement with the Tour de Palm Springs Board, where he helps support one of the region’s largest charitable cycling events.
Chris believes leadership is about showing up, serving others, and helping people grow—whether that’s customers, employees, young professionals, or fellow business owners. That same mindset shapes the way he runs his businesses: building relationships first, leading with integrity, reliability, dedication, and always finding ways to create a greater impact beyond the job itself.

Jennifer Schultz believes the strongest businesses are built through relationships, trust, and genuine care for people, both within the workplace and beyond. As co-founder and owner of CJS Power, Lighting & Design and No Shorts Electrical Services, she, alongside her husband Chris, has helped create a company culture centered around professionalism, family, service, giving back and community connection.
Through her involvement with the Rotary Club of Indio and her leadership as its Treasurer for the last 6 years, Jennifer has remained deeply involved in supporting local causes, building community partnerships, and helping others grow along the way. Her commitment to service also extends through her serving at Wellspring Church in Indian Wells and her love for giving back to the local community through events like the Tour de Palm Springs Board and other local initiatives focused on giving back and creating meaningful impact.
Jennifer is passionate about creating opportunities for others, supporting families and local businesses, and making sure every customer interaction reflects the core values that their company was built on - leadership, education, integrity, dedication, reliability and teamwork. For her, business is never just about the work—it’s about the people behind it, the trust that is earned, and the lasting relationships that are built through service.
